Let's be completely candid.
Every birthday, I think, should look a little different from the last. Your life, your situation, and and maybe even a few people that you're surrounded with. Now, I'm a little sad that this year, there are a few people who played a key role in my life that are missing, but hey, as they say - that's life. It's really too bad that it took losing them to discover that fact. Jack likes to say that maybe it was their "purpose". As much as I love everyone in my life, old and new, there are a few people that have been at my table for awhile now ( and have put up with a lot of crap, let me tell you). We've known one another since we were kids and we've watched each other grow up. Today, incidentally being my birthday, I dedicate this to them. I've been meaning to write individual dedications - and I will - but for the time being: Maura, Nita, Eunice, Pineby, Paul, Tallie and Sarah - Thank you. Much love.
